My dad passed away December 12, 2025. I know that is a somber way to start a blog but recently I have been contemplating complicated things. Losing a parent can jumpstart a series of introspective questions. You know those things that are tangled with no decent comb to clear the nest. Those Gordian knots that remain passed down from generation to generation until a modern Alexander cuts the knot with a sharp sword of clarity. Many times, we are motivated by the invisible entanglements that we collect over the years without even knowing that this fuel has been passed down from generations before us. The questions that we should stop and answer is why am I this way? Or why do I react this way? Then we should intentionally choose to be motivated by something else that we decide to establish as our motivation.

Our true consciousness arrives when we stop doing the instinctual and start doing the intentional.
